CEPA obtained an institutional grant from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) under its Institutional support to policy research organisations in South Asia. The project provides general support funding complemented by access to training and technical support with a view to sustaining research quality, policy linkages and CEPA's performance as an independent policy research organisation. Specific areas of support are for enhancing research capacity, strengthening organisational performance, improving policy linkages and communications and outreach.
