  Mansi Kumarasiri, BA (Kelaniya)
  Professional, Poverty Impact Monitoring Programme

Mansi is currently involved in the collection and analysis of data for the Southern Transport Development Project as well as supporting other PIM activities. Her initial work at CEPA, involved data collection for the Moving Out of Poverty in the Tea and Rubber Sector study and in Developing a Model for Pro-poor Connectivity Interventions. She was a member the organising committee of CEPA’s Poverty Symposium 2008 on Displacement and Resettlement, she is now reading for her masters in International Relations, at the Colombo University.
  Interests: Poverty impact monitoring, impact evaluation, development and infrastructure and International Relations.
 
  Gayathri Lokuge, BA (Kelaniya)
  Professional, Poverty and Conflict Programme

She supports the PAC team providing input in the conceptualisation of studies and carrying out fieldwork. Gayathri has been involved in the ‘Moving Out of Poverty’ studies, the Making Peace Keeping Peace study, several evalutations, the CRISE work undertaken by the PAC programme. She is serves as one of the coordinators of the Innovation Fund.
  Interests: Poverty and conflict, language studies and translation.
 
  Arunika Meedeniya, BA (Colombo)
  Professional, Poverty Assessment & Knowledge Management Programme

Arunika has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and is currently reading her masters degree in Economics at the University of Colombo. Her tasks in the PAM Programme include supporting the development of the poverty portal and conceptualising the study on the multi-dimensions of poverty in Sri Lanka (OPHI). She is a member of the CRISE team where her tasks include conceptual, research and quantitative analysis assistance and coordination support. She was also involved in sample selection, developing questionnaires and quantitative analysis for the research project on urban poverty in Gothamipura (CMC/IDRC).
  Interests: Econometrics, Development Economics, Quantitative Research related to field techniques and data management
 
  M. A. Mohamed Munas, BSc (Peradeniya)
  Professional, Poverty and Conflict Programme

Munas studied Agricultural Economics and reading for his masters in Economics at University of Colombo. He supports the PAC team providing input in the conceptualization of studies, carrying out data collection, analysis and writing. Munas was involved in the ‘Moving Out of Poverty’ studies, the Making Peace Keeping Peace study, several evalutations, the CRISE work and task managing CEPA Innovation Fund from 2006 to 2008. He also worked on the IFAD Country Strategic Opportunity Paper (COSOP) project.
  Interests: poverty and conflict, Migration and Remittances, Impact evaluation, Development economics and Agriculture.
 
  Ishara Rathnayake, MPhil (Peradeniya)
  Professional, Poverty Assessment & Knowledge Management Programme

Ishara has over four years research experience on poverty related issues. She holds a M.Phil from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. She coordinates activities related to the poverty resource centre, especially the poverty database and the CEPA website. She also worked on the the IFAD Country Strategic Opportunity Paper (COSOP) project.
  Interests: Agricultural economics, nutrition, gender and poverty assessments.
