Kalara holds a LLB Honours from the University of London and a BA Honours Degree in International Relations from the University of Colombo and is currently reading for her Masters in International Human Rights Law from the Birmingham City University. She is interested in interdisciplinary research and advocating for human rights. She has published on gender, human rights, refugees, surveillance and international law.

Virasha Godakanda holds an Honours Degree in Sociology from the University of Ruhuna. She has engaged in numerous projects aimed at social services during her university period while demonstrating strong leadership and community engagement skills. She has further authored and published over 10 articles, abstracts and papers in conferences which have been organized by state universities. Her very first book (co-authored) is currently in the reviewing process which addresses the intersection of photography and visual sociology. Moreover, she has one year of working experience in academic research and project planning. Currently, she is working on the theme of Labour and Migration and her major interests are focused on psychology and counselling as well.

Nulakshi holds a BSc in Operations and Technology Management with a first-class from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is currently reading for her MSc in (Research) Applied Statistics at the University of Colombo. She has prior experience in working on projects to meet company targets. She is particularly interested in working in the fields of Management, Economics, and Statistics. Nulakshi was employed as a research assistant at CEPA before joining CEPA’s team. Her methodological focus is quantitative, and she is attached to the Basic Services and Social Protection thematic.
