Nadiya is currently completing her Masters in Climate change & Environmental Management at the University of Colombo. Her research focuses on climate change and adaptation to social-ecological change in fishing communities. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology from Edinburgh Napier University. Her research has focused on exploring anthropogenic impacts on Sal Forests in Dehradun India, characterising phytoplankton communities in basin estuaries associated with Mangroves in the western coast of Sri Lanka, and a project exploring impacts of COVID-19 lockdowns on coastal fisheries in Sri Lanka. She has over 3 years of experience working in the sustainability and conservation research space. She currently works under the sustainability thematic at CEPA.

Shaneendra holds a BSc Honours Degree in International Relations from the University of London and a BA Honours Degree in English (Special) from the University of Colombo. Previously, he was employed as an intern and research assistant at CEPA. He is currently working under the Social Cohesion thematic.
Areas of Interest: Security Studies, Climate Crisis and Sustainable Development, Public Policy, “Global South” and Development, Language and Cultural Studies, Queer and Feminist Studies.
Heli holds a BSc Special Degree in Agriculture, majoring in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and currently reading for MSc in Agricultural Economics at the University of Peradeniya. She has a Diploma in International Relations from the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies(BCIS). She is currently working under the thematic Livelihood and Employment at CEPA .

Hasani has achieved her B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Technology and Management, specialized in Applied Economics and Business Management. Recently, she has completed her M.Phil. in Agricultural Economics and the research was based on an assessment of total factor productivity and technical efficiency in food production systems.
She has more than 6 years of experience as a Research Assistant at National Science Foundation, Colombo and an Investigator at Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute, Colombo. Currently, she works at CEPA as a Researcher under the thematic, Sustainability.
