Research Quality and Learning (RQL)
CEPA’s emphasis on research quality and learning is an ethical imperative that stems from our commitment to generate knowledge that advances social and economic justice. Approaching research as the art of investigating and enquiring into social reality, we believe that quality resides, first and foremost, in the researcher. The Research Quality and Learning (RQL) support programme is committed to continuously enhance our capacity to creatively and rigorously develop, interpret, and apply theory and method. The stress on quality is designed to enable independent, self-reflective, and ethical research that speaks to, and expands existing knowledge. Thus, RQL enables all researchers at CEPA to consciously set, and continuously review standards and learning in pursuit of a research praxis that is ethically grounded and politically informed.
